Major Contributions:  As VP of Marketing in a division charged with investigating new technology in the broadcast arena and developing and testing new product concepts, I spearheaded market research and evaluated potential new business opportunities, utilizing data mining skills and relationship building.

-  Produced in-depth reports, business plans, and PowerPoint presentations to Corporate and customers

-  Worked directly with the subject matter experts and engineers to develop user guides and specifications

Major Contributions: Developed yearly Marketing Plans and orchestrated all aspects of marketing, including advertising, budgets, websites, tradeshows, and marketing materials.  Restructured the tradeshow department to increase the number of leads while maximizing the return on those leads, stressing customer service and follow-through, and establishing goals to increase average unit sales.

-  Designed, edited, and updated multiple e-commerce websites

-  Worked with sales and development departments to develop technical guides, user manuals, and product descriptions

-  Established Online and Email Marketing platforms to facilitate communications with current customers and increase new leads

Major Contributions:  Active Duty from 1981 to 1989, retired as a reservist in 2002, at the rank of Commander.  In my 20 years in the Navy, I established multiple long-term relationships in the service, improved my leadership skills, and learned to work efficiently with available resources.  Last two duty stations:

Commander Naval Air Pacific, Naval Air Station North Island

-  Spearheaded the effort to establish CNAP joint interoperability status, working with officers in several commands

-  Charged with evaluating and recommending improvement to joint interoperability plans throughout CNAP commands

-  As Executive Officer, coordinated efforts to prepare for command inspection
